We’re all here because we believe in a fairer future, where community members have aligned interests and trusted relationships with each other. All members of the Dtravel community are expected to follow Dtravel’s Community Code of Conduct so we can have a healthy, happy and safe community.
What the Dtravel Community Forum is For
This forum is for us to discuss proposals and governance related topics, especially ahead of any governance votes. General discussions should be done on our other channels such as Telegram and Discord.
What the Dtravel Community Stands For
Lasting relationships
Building a thriving peer to peer vacation rental ecosystem is no small task, which is why Dtravel is committed to being here for the long term. To that end, all members of the community should participate and contribute with this same goal in mind - to act in a way that benefits the community long term.
Be respectful even when you disagree
We’re all people with our own experiences and values. However, what we all share is a belief in the concept of a peer to peer vacation rental ecosystem and community ownership.
The topics discussed here matter to everyone. Be respectful of the topics and the people discussing them, even if you disagree with some of what is being said. It’s okay to disagree as long as we are respectful when we provide our opinions and points of view.
Improve the discussion
To keep the community a high quality one, always aim to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you’re not sure whether your post will add to the conversation, think over what you want to say before posting it.
Look at other posts first before posting to see if that topic has already been covered in a different post so that we can keep information in an organized manner.
Everyone’s participation is valued and encouraged
We believe in community governance and decentralization and we’re committed to creating a transparent, intuitive, and sensible governance framework that ensures no one person or group can control the Dtravel network. However, we can’t get there without the community’s participation and help in driving the best interests of the platform long term.
As a community member, sharing your experience and knowledge will help Dtravel build the open and inclusive community we all want. To ensure high quality discourse, use emojis if you agree or support a comment. Only add a new post if you’re adding a new, original idea or point that hasn’t yet been brought up. If you see something that doesn’t look right, flag it or let a moderator know.
Unacceptable Behavior
Attacks on others
There is zero tolerance for abusive, disrespectful or bigoted language or behavior, whether towards a moderator or another community member.
The following behavior will not be tolerated or accepted and will result in an immediate ban:
- Abusive language
- Harassment
- Impersonating others
- Exposing someone else’s private information
- Scams
- Phishing
- Bigotry (attacking someone based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc)
- Price discussion
Remember that tone doesn’t translate on the internet so always err on the side of being friendly and helpful.

You can google this yourself in 5 seconds. | If you search the term “crypto consensus mechanisms”, you will find explanations that can explain it much better than we can here. |
If you bothered to read my question, you’d know it hasn’t been asked before. | I don’t believe my question has been asked before. My question is about proposal voting mechanisms and your link is about where to vote. |
Are you even speaking English because I can’t understand you. | Could you reword your question? I’m having difficulty understanding but I think you’re asking about where you can find Dtravel powered listings. |
I came to get help, not to have you edit my question. | Thanks for trying to help but your edit isn’t what I meant to ask. I’ve removed your edit and updated my question so it’s clearer. |
Your opinion is dumb and you’re stupid. | I don’t agree with that but I appreciate your perspective. |
Low-quality posts and low-effort comments will be heavily moderated.
